Despite their name, Australian Shepherds were developed on ranches in the west of the USA in the 19th century. For many years, Aussies have been valued by stockmen for their incredible versatility and trainability. And even though they are still working as stock dogs, their big brains and warm hearts have already won over regular people across the world, too. Bored Panda has compiled a list of examples why Australian Shepherds are the funniest dogs to have around.
From clinging onto their humans to solving just about any puzzle they encounter, you could argue that these K9s are the Good Will Huntings of the animal kingdom. If you neglect them, however, bored and unexercised Aussies may invent their own games, which to a very busy owner might appear as destructive hyperactivity.
